Hadith 33850
٣٣٨٥٠ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد ﴿وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ (وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ) (١)﴾ [الزخرف: ٤٤]، يقال: ممن هذا الرجل؟ (فيقال) (٢): من العرب، فيقال: من أي العرب؟ (فيقال) (٣): من قريش، ﴿وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ﴾ [الشرح: ٤]، لا أُذكر إلا ذُكِرتْ: أشهد أن لا إله إلا اللَّه وأشهد أن محمدا رسول اللَّه.
Mujahid, in the explanation of Allah’s command { وَإِنَّہُ لَذِکْرٌ لَک وَلِقَوْمِک }, says that it will be asked: “Who is this man among?” The answer will be: “Among the Arabs.” It will be asked: “From which tribe of the Arabs?” The answer will be: “From the Quraysh.” The explanation of { وَرَفَعْنَا لَک ذِکْرَک } is that whenever my name is mentioned, your name will also be mentioned. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
