Hadith 33845
٣٣٨٤٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي سعيد قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يدعى نوح يوم القيامة فيقال (له) (١): هل بلغت؟ فيقول: نعم، فيدعى قومه فيقال: هل بلغكم؟ فيقولون: ما أتانا من نذير وما أتانا من أحد، قال: فيقال لنوح: من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد وأمته، قال: فذلك قوله: ﴿وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا﴾ [البقرة: ١٤٣]، قال: (و) (٢) الوسط: العدل قال: فيدعون فيشهدون له بالبلاغ، قال: ثم أشهد عليكم بعد" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Noah (peace be upon him) will be called and it will be said to him, "Did you convey the message to your people?" They will say, "No warner came to us, and no one came to us." Noah (peace be upon him) will be asked, "Who will bear witness for you?" He will say, "Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his ummah." He said: This is the meaning of Allah's statement { وَکَذَلِکَ جَعَلْنَاکُمْ أُمَّۃً وَسَطًا }, and the meaning of "al-wasat" is moderate. He said: They will bear witness that he conveyed the message to them. He said: Then after that, I will bear witness for you.
