Hadith 33841
٣٣٨٤١ - حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن أبي (حيان) (١) عن يزيد بن (حيان) (٢) عن زيد بن أرقم قال: بعث إلي عبيد اللَّه بن زياد فأتيته فقال: ما أحاديث تحدث بها ⦗٤٢٨⦘ بلغتنا وترويها عن رسول اللَّه ﷺ لا (نسمعها) (٣) في كتاب له وتحدث أن له حوضًا، فقال: قد حدثنا عنه رسول اللَّه ﷺ ووعدناه (٤).
Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Ubaidullah bin Ziyad sent for me, so I went to him. He said, "What are these ahadith that you narrate which have reached us, and you narrate them from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? We have not read them in the Book of Allah, and you say that you have a Hawd (Pond)?" He replied, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has also described this to us and has promised it to us."
