من كان يرى أن يعجل المغربThose who say Maghrib should be prayed early
Hadith 3362
٣٣٦٢ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن جعفر بن برقان عن الزهري عن رجل أظنه قال: من أبناء النقباء عن أبيه قال: كنا نصلي المغرب مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ، ثم نرجع ⦗٢٢٢⦘ إلى رحالنا وأحدنا يبصر مواقع النبل. قال: قلت للزهري: وكم كانت منازلهم من المدينة؛ قال: ثلثي ميل (١).
A narrator reports that we used to perform the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then we would return to our mounts and we could still see the distance of an arrow's throw. The narrator says: I asked Hazrat Zuhri how far their houses were from Madinah Munawwarah? He replied: At a distance of two-thirds of a mile.
