من كان يبرد بها ويقول: الحر من فيح جهنمThose who say Zuhr should be delayed due to heat, as heat is from the breath of Hell
Hadith 3315
٣٣١٥ - حدثنا شبابة بن سوار عن شعبة قال: حدثنا المهاجر أبو الحسن قال: سمعت زيد بن وهب يحدث عن أبي ذر قال: كنا مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ في مسير فأراد بلال أن يؤذن فقال (له) (١) رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أبرد"، ثم أراد أن يؤذن فقال: "أبرد"، ⦗٢١١⦘ حتى رأينا فيء (التلول) (٢)، ثم أذن فصلى الظهر، ثم قال: "إن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم، فإذا اشتد الحر فأبردوا بالصلاة" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr Ghifari that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When Hazrat Bilal intended to give the call to prayer (adhan), the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, "Wait." After a while, when he again intended to give the adhan, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, again said, "Wait." This continued until we began to see the shade of the mounds. Then he gave the adhan and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led the Zuhr prayer. Then he said, "The intensity of the heat is a blast from Hell. When the heat is severe, perform the prayer after it has cooled down."
