من كان يصلي الظهر إذا زالت الشمس ولا يبرد بهاThose who say Zuhr should be prayed as soon as the sun declines, without delay
Hadith 3308
٣٣٠٨ - حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن محمد بن عمرو عن سعيد بن الحارث عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: كنت أصلي مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ الظهر فآخذ قبضة من الحصى ⦗٢٠٩⦘ فأجعلها في كفي، ثم أحولها إلى الكف الأخرى حتى تبرد، ثم أضعها (لجبيني) (١) حين (أسجد) (٢) من شدة الحر (٣).
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I performed the Zuhr prayer with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Due to the intense heat, I would pick up a handful of pebbles and hold them first in one palm and then in the other so that they would cool down, then I would place them at the spot of my forehead when prostrating.
