من كان يصلي الظهر إذا زالت الشمس ولا يبرد بهاThose who say Zuhr should be prayed as soon as the sun declines, without delay
Hadith 3303
٣٣٠٣ - حدثنا يحيى بن (سعيد) (١) القطان عن حبيب بن شهاب عن أبيه قال: سألت أبا هريرة عن وقت الظهر فقال: إذا زالت الشمس عن نصف النهار، وكان الظل (قيس) (٢) الشراك فقد قامت الظهر (٣).
Hazrat Habib bin Shahab narrates from his father that I asked Hazrat Abu Hurairah about the time of Zuhr, so he said: When the sun declines at midday and the shadow becomes equal to the strap, then the time for Zuhr has begun.
