Hadith 32728
٣٢٧٢٨ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: (حدثني) (١) ابن عيينة عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن حكيم (بن) (٢) جابر قال: سمعت طلحة بن عبيد اللَّه يقول يوم الجمل: إنا كنا قد داهنا في أمر عثمان، فلا نجد بدا من المبالغة (٣).
Hakeem bin Jabir narrates that on the day of the Battle of Jamal, I heard Hazrat Talha bin Ubaidullah saying: "We showed leniency in the matter of Hazrat Uthman's leadership; now, for us, there is no option left except to exceed all bounds in supporting him."
