Hadith 32555
٣٢٥٥٥ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا سليمان عن حميد بن هلال قال: (قال) (١) صلة: رأيت أبا رفاعة -بعد ما أصيب- في النوم على ناقة سريعة، وأنا على جمل ثقال قطوف (٢) وأنا آخذ على إثره قال: فيعوجها علي، فأقول: الآن أسمعه ⦗٩٨⦘ الصوت، (فسرحها) (٣) وأنا أتبع أثره، قال: فأولت رؤياي أخذ طريق أبي رفاعة وأنا أكد العمل بعده كدا.
It is narrated from Hazrat Humaid bin Hilal that he said: I saw Hazrat Rifa’ah in a dream after he was killed, that he was riding a swift she-camel and I was riding a slow, small-stepping camel and was following behind him. He turned his she-camel towards me, so I said to myself that now I can make my voice heard to him. Then he made his she-camel move on and I kept following behind him. He says: I interpreted my dream to mean that I would follow the path of Abu Rifa’ah and would strive hard in working after him.
