Hadith 32454
٣٢٤٥٤ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا زكريا قال: حدثنا الحواري أن عبد اللَّه بن (عمر) (١) قال: إن عرى الدين و (قوامه) (٢): الصلاة والزكاة، لا يفرق بينهما، وحج البيت وصوم رمضان، وإن من (إصلاح) (٣) الأعمال: الصدقة والجهاد، (٤) قم فانطلق (٥).
Hazrat Hawari, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: The foundation and essence of religion is prayer and zakat; there will be no distinction made between these two, and performing Hajj of the House of Allah, and fasting in Ramadan, and indeed among the good deeds are charity and jihad. Rise and go forth for jihad.
