Hazrat Wa'il bin Mahana, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: I have not seen anyone more deficient in religion and in giving counsel than women, nor anyone more capable of prevailing over intelligent men in their affairs. The people asked: O Abu Abdur Rahman! What is the deficiency in their religion? He, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: Their leaving prayer during the days of menstruation. The people asked: And how is their intellect deficient? He, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: The testimony of two women is not accepted except with the testimony of one man.
