Hadith 32404
٣٢٤٠٤ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا بن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن عامر بن سعد عن أبيه أن نفرا أتوا رسول اللَّه ﷺ (فسألوه) (١) فأعطاهم إلا رجلًا منهم، فقال سعد: يا رسول اللَّه (٢) أعطيتهم وتركت فلانًا، واللَّه إني لأراه مؤمنًا، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أو مسلما" (فقال) (٣) سعد: واللَّه إني لأراه مؤمنا فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أو مسلما" (فقال ذلك ثلاثًا) (٤) فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٥) ذلك ثلاثًا (٦).
Hazrat Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a group came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) gave wealth to all except one man among them. So Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! You gave to everyone and left out so-and-so. By Allah! I consider him a believer. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Or do you consider him a Muslim? So Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I consider him a believer. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Or do you consider him a Muslim? Thus, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said this three times.
