Hadith 32358
٣٢٣٥٨ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "مثل المؤمن مثل الزرع لا (تزال) (١) الريح (تميله) (٢) ولا يزال المؤمن (يصيبه) (٣) (البلاء) (٤)، ومثل الكافر كمثل شجرة (الأرزة) (٥) لا تهتز حتى تستحصد" (٦).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a believer is like that of a crop which the wind keeps bending continuously, and in the same way, a believer is always afflicted with trials and tribulations. And the example of a disbeliever is like that of a pine tree which does not bend until the time comes for it to be cut down.
