Hadith 32349
٣٢٣٤٩ - حدثنا مصعب بن المقدام قال حدثنا عكرمة بن عمار (قال) (١): حدثني أبو زميل عن مالك بن مرثد الزماني عن أبيه قال: قال أبو ذر: سألت رسول اللَّه ﷺ: ماذا ينجي العبد من النار؟ (فقال) (٢): "الإيمان باللَّه"، قال: قلت: (يا ⦗٢٣⦘ نبي) (٣) اللَّه (أو) (٤) مع الإيمان عمل؟ فقال: "ترضخ مما رزقك اللَّه، أو يرضخ مما رزقه اللَّه" (٥).
Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Which deed is it that saves a servant from Hell? He (peace be upon him) replied: To have faith in Allah. He (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Is there any deed along with faith? He (peace be upon him) replied: That you give out of the sustenance which Allah has given you. Or he (peace be upon him) said: That he gives out of the sustenance which Allah has given him.
