فيمن لا تنفعه قراءة القرآنThose Whose Recitation of the Qur'an Will Not Benefit Them
Hadith 32197
٣٢١٩٧ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن (يسير) (١) بن عمرو قال: سألت سهل بن حنيف ما سمعت النبي ﷺ يذكر هؤلاء الخوارج؟ قال: سمعته -وأشار بيده نحو المشرق: "يخرج منه قوم يقرأون القرآن بألسنتهم لا يعدو تراقيهم يمرقون من الدين كما يمرق السهم من الرمية" (٢).
Hazrat Yasir bin Amr narrates that I asked Hazrat Sahl bin Hunaif: Did you ever hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mention the Khawarij? He replied: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he pointed with his hand towards the east and said: From here a group will emerge who will recite the Qur'an with their tongues, but the Qur'an will not go beyond their throats. They will leave the religion just as an arrow passes through its prey.
