٣٢٠٨٥ - قال: وقال عبد اللَّه بن (عمرو) (١): (لو) (٢) بات رجل ينفق دينارًا دينارًا ودرهمًا درهمًا ويحمل على الجياد في سبيل اللَّه (وبات رجل يتلو كتاب اللَّه) (٣) حتى يصبح متقبلا منه، وبت أتلو كتاب اللَّه حتى أصبح متقبلا مني لم أحب أن لي عمله بعملي (٤).
32085 - He said: And Abdullah ibn (Amr) said: (If) a man were to spend dinar after dinar and dirham after dirham and provide steeds in the way of Allah, (and another man were to spend the night reciting the Book of Allah) until morning, accepted from him, and I spent the night reciting the Book of Allah until morning, accepted from me, I would not wish to have his deed in place of mine.
