Hadith 32057
٣٢٠٥٧ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن عبد اللَّه قال: جاء معاذ إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه أقرئني، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: ("أقرئه") (١)، فأقرأته ما كان معي ثم اختلفت أنا وهو إلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فقرأه معاذ (وكان) (٢) معلمًا من المعلمين على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Muadh came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Teach me the Qur'an. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abdullah! Teach him the Qur'an. So whatever I remembered, I taught him. Then I and he went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and Hazrat Muadh recited the Qur'an before him. And Hazrat Muadh was one of the teachers who taught the Qur'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
