من قرأ القرآن على عهد النبي ﷺThose Who Recited the Qur'an During the Time of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Hadith 32056
٣٢٠٥٦ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن إسماعيل عن الشعبي قال: (قرأ) (١) القرآن في عهد النبي ﷺ أبيٌّ، ومعاذ، وزيد، وأبو زيد، وأبو الدرداء، وسعيد بن عبيد، ولم (يقرأه) (٢) أحد من الخلفاء من أصحاب النبي ﷺ إلا عثمان، وقرأه (مجمع بن جارية) (٣) إلا سورة أو سورتين (٤).
Ismail narrates that Imam Shabi said: These individuals recited the Qur'an during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him): Hazrat Ubayy, Hazrat Mu'adh, Hazrat Zayd, Hazrat Abu Zayd, Hazrat Abu Darda, and Hazrat Sa'id bin Ubaid, etc. And none of the caliphs of the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited the Qur'an before them except Hazrat Uthman. And Hazrat Mujammi' bin Jariyah also recited one or two surahs before the Prophet (peace be upon him).
