Hadith 31977
٣١٩٧٧ - حدثنا أبو داود الطيالسي عن مسمع بن مالك قال: سمعت عكرمة قال: كان (ابن عباس إذا سئل) (١) عن (الشيء) (٢) من القرآن أنشد (أشعارًا) (٣) من أشعارهم (٤).
Hazrat Ikrimah states that when Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) was asked about the interpretation of any verse of the Holy Qur'an, he would respond by reciting the poetry of the Arabs.
