Hadith 31947
٣١٩٤٧ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبيه عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: من قرأ القرآن واتبع ما فيه هداه اللَّه من الضلالة ووقاه يوم القيامة سوء (الحساب) (١) وذلك بأن اللَّه يقول: ﴿فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَى﴾ (٢) [طه: ١٢٣].
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Whoever recites the Qur'an and follows its teachings, Allah will grant him guidance from misguidance, and will save him from a bad reckoning on the Day of Judgment. And this is because Allah has said: So whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor be miserable.
