ما يدعو به الرجل ويؤمر به إذا لبس الثوب الجديدSupplication When Wearing New Clothes
Hadith 31739
٣١٧٣٩ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن أبي الأشهب عن رجل من مرينة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ رأى على عمر ثوبا غسيلًا (فقال: جديد ثوبك هذا؟ قال: غسيل) (١) يا رسول اللَّه، قال: فقال (٢) رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ألبس جديدًا، وعش حميدًا، وتوف شهيدًا، يعطك اللَّه قرة عين في الدنيا والآخرة" (٣).
A man from the tribe of Muzainah narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Umar wearing washed clothes, so he said: Are these clothes of yours new? Umar replied: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), they are washed. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Wear new clothes, live a life of gratitude, and die as a martyr. May Allah grant you the coolness of the eyes in this world and the Hereafter.
