Hadith 31647
٣١٦٤٧ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد اللَّه بن (نسيب) (١) قال: صليت إلى جنب سعيد بن المسيب، فلما جلست في الركعة الثانية رفعت صوتي بالدعاء فانتهرني، فلما (انصرفت) (٢) قلت له: ما كرهت مني؟ قال: ظننت أن اللَّه ليس بقريب منك.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Naseeb narrates that I prayed next to Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib. When I sat in the second rak'ah and my voice became loud while making supplication, he scolded me severely. When I finished the prayer, I asked him: What did you dislike about what I did? He replied: What do you think, is Allah not close to you?!
