Hadith 31591
٣١٥٩١ - (١) حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا أراد الرجوع - (يعني) (٢) - من سفره قال: " (آيبون) (٣) تائبون عابدون لربنا حامدون"، وإذا دخل على أهله قال: "توبا توبا لربنا أوبا لا يغادر علينا حوبا" (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to return from a journey, he would recite these words: We are those who repent, those who worship, those who praise our Lord. And when he entered upon his family, he would recite these words: We are repenting, repenting, returning only to our Lord; He will not leave any of our sins.
