Hadith 31534
٣١٥٣٤ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن أبي إسحاق عن (الأغر) (١) أبي مسلم يشهد (به) (٢) على أبي هريرة وأبي سعيد الخدري (قالا) (٣): قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن اللَّه يمهل حتى يذهب ثلث (الليل) (٤) ثم ينزل إلى (السماء) (٥) الدنيا فيقول: هل من مستغفر؟ هل من تائب؟ هل من داع؟ هل من سائل؟ حتى ينفجر الفجر" (٦).
Hazrat Abu Huraira and Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri narrate that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely Allah grants respite until a third of the night has passed, then Allah Almighty descends to the sky of the world and says: Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone repenting? Is there anyone supplicating? Is there anyone asking? Until the dawn breaks.
