Hadith 31475
٣١٤٧٥ - حدثنا يحيى بن أبي بكير حدثنا زهير بن محمد عن يزيد بن خصيفة عن (عمر) (١) بن عبد اللَّه بن كعب عن نافع بن جبير عن عثمان بن أبي العاص الثقفي قال: قدمت على رسول اللَّه ﷺ وبي وجع، قد كاد (يبطلني) (٢) فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "اجعل يدك اليمنى عليه، ثم قل: (اللهم) (٣) بسم اللَّه أعوذ بعزة اللَّه وقدرته من شر ما أجد سبع مرات، ففعلت فشفاني اللَّه ﷿" (٤).
Hazrat Uthman bin Abi Al-Aas Al-Thaqafi narrates that I went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I was suffering from severe pain, to the extent that this pain was about to lead me to something wrong. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: Place your right hand on the place where you feel pain, then recite these words seven times: "In the name of Allah, I begin. I seek refuge in the might and power of Allah from the evil of what I find." Hazrat Uthman bin Abi Al-Aas Al-Thaqafi says: So I did as instructed, and Allah, the Exalted, granted me healing.
