Hadith 31470
٣١٤٧٠ - (١) حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان قال: أخبرني عمير ابن هانئ قال: سمعت جنادة بن أبي أمية يقول: سمعت عبادة بن الصامت يحدث عن رسول اللَّه ﷺ أن جبريل رقاه وهو يوعك فقال: "بسم اللَّه أرقيك، من كل داء يؤذيك، من كل حاسد إذا حسد، ومن كل عين، واسم اللَّه يشفيك" (٢).
Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Jibreel performed ruqyah (spiritual healing) on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was suffering from a severe fever, and recited these words: In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah for you, from every illness that harms you, from every envious person when he envies, and from every (evil) eye, and it is the name of Allah that will grant you healing.
