Hadith 31357
٣١٣٥٧ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن محمد بن عجلان عن مسلم بن أبي مريم قال: جاءت أم هانئ إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول اللَّه (إني) (١) قد كبرت وضعفت فعلمني عملًا أعمله وأنا جالسة، فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إنك إن كبرت اللَّه ⦗١٩٧⦘ مائة تكبيرة كانت خيرًا من مائة بدنة مجللة متقبلة، وإنك إن سبحت اللَّه مائة تسبيحة كانت خيرا من مائة رقبة (تعتقتيها) (٢)، وإنك إن حمدت اللَّه مائة (تحميدة) (٣) كانت خيرًا من مائة فرس مسرج ملجم (يحمل) (٤) عليهن في سبيل اللَّه ﷿" (٥).
Hazrat Muslim bin Abi Maryam narrates that Hazrat Umm Hani came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I have reached old age and have become weak. Please teach me a deed that I can continue to do while sitting. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you declare the greatness of Allah a hundred times, it is better than a hundred accepted camels adorned with bridles; and indeed, if you declare the purity of Allah a hundred times, it is better than a hundred slaves whom you have set free; and indeed, if you praise and glorify Allah a hundred times, it is better than a hundred horses saddled and bridled, upon which goods are tied to be sent in the way of Allah.
