Hadith 31321
٣١٣٢١ - حدثنا (١) علي بن مسهر ومروان بن معاوية عن موسى الجهني عن مصعب بن سعد عن أبيه قال: جاء أعرابي إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه علمني شيئًا أقوله قال: "قل: لا إله إلا اللَّه وحده لا شريك له، (له الملك) (٢)، اللَّه أكبر كبيرا، والحمد للَّه كثيرًا، سبحان اللَّه رب العالمين، لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللَّه العزيز (الحكيم) (٣) "، قال: فقال الأعرابي: هذا لربي فما لي؟ قال: "قل: اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني واهدني وارزقني (٤) " (٥).
Hazrat Sa’d narrates that a Bedouin came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Tell me a remembrance (dhikr) that I may keep reciting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Say: There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, Allah is the Greatest, and all praise is for Allah, Allah is Pure, the Lord of all the worlds. The ability to abstain from sins and to do good deeds comes only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.” Hazrat Sa’d narrates that the Bedouin asked: This is for my Lord, and what is for me? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Say: O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and grant me sustenance.
