Hadith 31284
٣١٢٨٤ - حدثنا الحسن بن موسى حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ كان إذا أوى إلى فراشه قال: "اللهم رب السماوات ورب الأرضين، (ربي) (١) ورب كل شيء، فالق الحب والنوى، منزل التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن، أعوذ بك من شر كل ذي شر أنت آخذ بناصيته، أنت الأول (فليس) (٢) قبلك شيء، (وأنت الآخر فليس بعدك شيء) (٣)، وأنت ⦗١٦٨⦘ الظاهر فليس فوقك شيء، وأنت الباطن فليس دونك شيء، أقض عني الدين وأغنني من الفقر" (٤).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would lie down on his bed, he would recite this supplication: O Allah! Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earths, and our Lord and Lord of everything, Creator of the grain and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every possessor of evil whose forelock You have seized. You are the First; there was nothing before You. And You are the Last; there will be nothing after You. And You are the Most High; there is nothing above You. And You are the Most Near; there is nothing nearer than You. Remove debt from me and enrich me from poverty.
