ما قالوا: في الرجل إذا أخذ مضجعه (و) أوى إلى فراشه، ما يدعو به؟Those Who Say: What Supplication Should Be Made When Going to Bed?
Hadith 31267
٣١٢٦٧ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن سعد بن عبيدة عن البراء بن عازب عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال لرجل: "إذا أخذت مضجعك فقل: اللهم إني أسلمت نفسي إليك، ووجهت وجهي إليك، وفوضت أمري إليك، وألجات ظهري (إليك) (١) (رغبة ورهبة) (٢) (إليك) (٣)، لا منجى ولا ملجأ منك إلا إليك، آمنت بكتابك الذي أنزلت ونبيك الذي ⦗١٦٢⦘ أرسلت، فإن (متَّ متَّ) (٤) على الفطرة" (٥).
Hazrat Bara bin Azib narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a man: When you lie down on your bed, say these words: O Allah! I have submitted my soul to You, and I have turned my face towards You, and I have entrusted my affairs to You, and I have turned my back towards You, desiring You and fearing You, and there is no refuge and no escape from You except towards You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and I believe in Your Prophet whom You have sent. Then if you die that night, you will die upon the natural faith.
