ما قالوا: في الرجل إذا أخذ مضجعه (و) أوى إلى فراشه، ما يدعو به؟Those Who Say: What Supplication Should Be Made When Going to Bed?
Hadith 31265
٣١٢٦٥ - (١) حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن أبي إسحاق عن (٢) البراء قال: كان ⦗١٦١⦘ النبي ﷺ إذا أخذ مضجعه قال: "اللهم إليك أسلمت نفسي، ووجهت وجهي، وإليك فوضت أمري، وإليك ألجأت ظهري، رغبة ورهبة إليك، لا ملجأ ولا منجى منك إلا إليك، آمنت بكتابك الذي (أنزلت) (٣)، وبنبيك أو رسولك الذي أرسلت (٤).
Hazrat Bara’ narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would lie down on his bed, he would recite this supplication: O Allah! I have submitted my soul to You, and I have turned my face towards You, and I have entrusted my affairs to You, and I have leaned my back towards You, desiring You and fearing You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet, or Your Messenger, whom You have sent.
