Hadith 31019
٣١٠١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن ابن أبي مليكة (قال) (١): قضى رسول اللَّه ﷺ بالشفعة في كل شيء: في الأرض والدار والجارية والدابة (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abi Mulaika narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the verdict of pre-emption (shuf‘a) in everything: whether it is land, a house, a slave-girl, or an animal. So Ata said that pre-emption is only in a house and land. Then Ibn Abi Mulaika said: May your mother die! Did you not hear? I am saying: the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said this, and you are saying this?
