Hadith 31015
٣١٠١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (أبو) (١) معاوية عن (حجاج) (٢) عن أبي سعيد (الأعسم) (٣) أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قضى في العبد وسيده قضيتين، قضى في العبد إذا خرج من دار الحرب قبل سيده فهو حر، فإن خرج سيده بعده لم (يرده) (٤) عليه، وإن خرج السيد قبل العبد من دار الحرب ثم خرج العبد (بعد) (٥) (رده) (٦) على سيده (٧).
Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Asam narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, made two rulings regarding a slave and his master: Regarding the slave, he ruled that if the slave leaves the land of war before his master, he will become free. Then, if after the slave, the master also leaves, the slave will not be returned. But if the master leaves the land of war before the slave, and then the slave leaves after him, the slave will be returned to his master.
