Hadith 30885
٣٠٨٨٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ذئب عن خالد عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: ضرب ابن له في الشراب وطيف به، فقال: ما أجد عليه في ضريه إياه، ولكني أجد عليه (أنه) (١) (طاف) (٢) به، وهو شيء لم يفعله المسلمون.
Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman bin Abi Dhi'b narrates from his maternal uncle that a son of Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib was beaten for the crime of drinking alcohol and was made to be paraded around. So he (Saeed bin Musayyib) said: I do not grieve over the beating he received, but what grieves me is that he was made to be paraded around; this is something that Muslims have never done.
