Hadith 30775
٣٠٧٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن أبي عوانة عن أبي بشر عن عمرو بن هرم عن جابر بن زيد عن ابن عباس في رجل طلق امرأته واحدة ثم قذفها قال: يجلد الحد ليس كمن لم يطلق (١).
Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid narrates that it is reported from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) regarding a man who gave his wife one divorce and then accused her; he said: The punishment of false accusation (hadd-e-qazf) will be imposed on him. It will not be as if he had not divorced her. And Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: He can perform li'an (mutual cursing) as long as he has the right to take her back.
