Hadith 30764
٣٠٧٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن صالح بن مسلم عن الشعبي في رجل قال لامرأة: أشهد أني قد زنيت بك، قال: اضربه بما افترى عليها، ولا أضربه بما افترى على نفسه إلا ببينة.
Hazrat Salih bin Muslim narrates that it is reported from Hazrat Sha’bi regarding a man who said to a woman: “Indeed, I have committed adultery with you.” He (Sha’bi) said: I will punish him for falsely accusing this woman, but I will not punish this person for accusing himself unless there is evidence.
