Hadith 30756
٣٠٧٥٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عدي عن أشعث عن الحسن في الرجل يقر بالحد دون السلطان ثم يجحد إذا رفع: لم ير أن يلزمه.
Hazrat Ash'ath narrates that it is reported from Hasan Basri regarding the person who confesses to a hadd punishment in the absence of the ruler, then denies it when he is presented (before the ruler). So he (Hasan Basri) did not hold the opinion that it should be made obligatory upon him.
