Hadith 30727
٣٠٧٢٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن الحسن قال: جاءت امرأة من بارق إلى (رسول) (١) اللَّه ﷺ (٢) فقالت: إني قد زنيت فأقم فيَّ حد اللَّه، قال: فردها النبي ﵇ حتى شهدت على نفسها شهادات، فقال لها النبي ﷺ (٣): "ارجعي" (٤)، فلما وضعت حملها أمرها النبي ﷺ فتطهرت ولبست أكفانها ثم أمر بها فرجمت، فأصاب خالدَ بن الوليد من دمها فسبها، فنهاه النبي ﷺ فقال: "لقد تابت توبة لو تابها صاحب مكس لقبل منه" (٥).
Hasan Basri narrates that a woman from the place of Barq came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: Indeed, I have committed adultery, so please carry out Allah’s punishment on me! The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent her back until she gave many testimonies against herself. Then the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her: Go back. When she had given birth to her child, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered her, so she purified herself and put on her shroud. Then, by the order of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, she was stoned to death. Some of her blood splashed onto Khalid bin Walid, so he spoke harshly to her. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade him and said: Indeed, she has repented with such a repentance that if a tax collector had repented in this way, his repentance would have been accepted.
