Hadith 30657
٣٠٦٥٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه بن عبد اللَّه بن عتبة أو عبد اللَّه بن عتبة أن (١) مروان سأله عن الحر (يكون) (٢) تحته الأمة ثم يصيب فاحشة، قال: يرجم قال: عمن تأخذ هذا؟ قال: ⦗٤٨٤⦘ أدركنا أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقولونه (٣).
Marwan asked ‘Ubaydullah bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Utbah or ‘Abdullah bin ‘Utbah about a freed man who has a slave woman under him and he commits adultery. He replied: He should be stoned. Marwan asked: From whom did you take this ruling? He replied: We found the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying this.
