Hadith 30349
٣٠٣٤٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (عمر) (١) عن عيسى (الخياط) (٢) عن الشعبي قال: من وقع عليه اللعان فأبى أن يحلف أقيم عليه الحد.
Isa al-Khayyat narrates that Hazrat Shabi said: If a person is subject to li'an and he refuses to take the oath, then the hadd will be established upon that person. And Isa said: I heard others besides Imam Shabi say: Both of them will be compelled to perform li'an and they will be imprisoned until they both perform li'an.
