Hadith 30217
٣٠٢١٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن (أبي) (١) بشر عن أبي روح أن امرأة تشبهت بأمة لرجل، وذلك ليلًا، فواقعها وهو يرى أنها أمته، قال: فرفع ذلك إلى عمر، قال: فأرسل إلى علي فقال: اضرب الرجل حدًا في السر، واضرب المرأة في العلانية (٢).
Hazrat Abu Ruh narrates that a woman imitated a man's slave-girl, and it was nighttime, so he had intercourse with her, thinking she was his slave-girl. Then this matter was presented before Hazrat Umar. So he sent a messenger to call Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Administer the prescribed punishment to the man in private, and to the woman administer the prescribed punishment openly."
