Hadith 30144
٣٠١٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج قال: أخبرني عبد ربه بن أبي أمية بن الحارث عن الحارث بن عبد اللَّه بن أبي ربيعة أنه حدثه وعبد الرحمن بن سابط أيضًا (حدثه) (١) أن النبي ﷺ أتي بعبد قد لسرق فقطع يده، ثم الثانية، فقطع رجله، ثم أتي به فقطع يده، ثم أتي به فقطع رجله (٢).
Hazrat Harith bin Abdullah bin Abu Rabi’ah and Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Sabit, both state that a slave was brought to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Indeed, he had committed theft, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his hand cut off. Then he committed theft again, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his foot cut off. Then he was brought again, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his hand cut off. Then he was brought again, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had his foot cut off.
