Hadith 30134
٣٠١٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن (منصور عن) (١) أبي الضحى (٢).
Hazrat Abu al-Duha and Hazrat Sha'bi state that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: When a thief commits theft multiple times, I will cut off his hand and foot, and then if he steals again, I will hand him over to the protection of the prison.
