Hadith 29823
٢٩٨٢٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن سعيد (و) (١) (حرام) (٢) بن سعد أن ناقة للبراء بن عازب دخلت حائط قوم فأفسدت عليهم، فقضى رسول اللَّه ﷺ أن حفظ الأموال على أهلها بالنهار، وأن على أهل ⦗٣٠٠⦘ الماشية (ما أصابت) (٣) الماشية بالليل (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed and Hazrat Haram that the she-camel of Hazrat Bara bin Azib entered the garden of a certain people and destroyed their garden. Regarding this, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave this ruling: It is necessary for the owner to protect his property during the day, and the owner of the cattle will be liable if his cattle cause any damage at night.
