٢٩٧٩٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا فضيل بن مرزوق عن عطية بن سعد العوفي عن عبد الرحمن بن جندب عن علي أنه سئل عن قتلاه، وقتلى معاوية فقال: أجيء أنا ومعاوية (فنختصم) (١) عند ذي العرش فأينا (فلج فلج) (٢) أصحابه (٣).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Jundab narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about those killed from his side and those killed from the side of Hazrat Muawiyah. He replied: "I and Muawiyah will come and dispute before the Throne (of Allah), and whoever among us prevails in argument, his companions will also prevail in argument."
