Hadith 2973
٢٩٧٣ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن الأعمش قال: رأيت عطية يقعي بين السجدتين فقلت له، فقال: رأيت ابن عمر، وابن عباس، وابن الزبير يقعون بين السجدتين (١).
Hazrat A’mash says that I saw Hazrat Atiyyah sitting between the two prostrations with his shins and thighs joined together, sitting on his hips. I asked him about this, and he replied that he had seen Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) sitting between the two prostrations with their shins and thighs joined together, sitting on their hips.
