٢٩٧١٥ - [*] قال: فوثب إليه الرجل فضربه بالسيف حتى قتله ثم ألقاه فأصبح قتيلًا بالمدينة، فقال عمر: أنشد اللَّه رجلًا كان عنده من هذا علم إلا قام به، فقام الرجل فأخبره بالقصة فقال: سحق وبعد (١).
29715 - [*] He said: So the man leapt at him and struck him with the sword until he killed him, then cast him aside, so he was found dead in Medina in the morning. Umar said: I beseech by Allah any man who has knowledge of this to stand and inform us. So the man stood and told the story. He (Umar) said: Away and be gone (1).
