Hadith 29664
٢٩٦٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا المسعودي عن القاسم قال: انطلق رجلان من أهل الكوفة إلى عمر بن الخطاب فوجداه قد صدر عن البيت (فقالا) (١): يا أمير المؤمنين إن ابن عم لنا قتل ونحن (إليه شرع) (٢) سواء في الدم، وهو ساكت عنهما (فقال) (٣): شاهدان (ذوا) (٤) عدل تجيئان (به) (٥) على من قتله فنقيدكم منه (٦).
Hazrat Masoodi narrates that Hazrat Qasim said: Two men came from Kufa to Hazrat Umar bin Khattab. They found him while he was returning from the House of Allah. Both of them said, "O Commander of the Faithful! Our cousin has been killed, and we are equally entitled to his blood." He remained silent with them and said, "Both of you bring two just witnesses against the person who killed him, then I will have you take retribution from him."
