٢٩٦٦٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن (حجاج) (١) بن أبي عثمان قال: (حدثني) (٢) أبو رجاء مولى أبى قلابة (عن أبي قلابة) (٣) أن عمر بن عبد العزيز أبرز سريرة يومًا للناس ثم أذن لهم فدخلوا (٤) فقال: ما (تقولون) (٥) في القسامة؟ (فأضب) (٦) الناس فقالوا: نقول: القسامة القود بها حق، وقد أقادت (بها الخلفاء) (٧).
Hazrat Abu Qilabah narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz one day presented his throne before the people, then he asked: What do you people say about Qasamah? So the people pondered and said: Taking Qisas (retribution) through Qasamah is rightful, and indeed the Rightly Guided Caliphs have taken Qisas through this means.
