Hadith 29620
٢٩٦٢٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير أن عليًا أتي برجلين قتل أحدهما وأمسك الآخر، فقتل الذي (قتل) (١) وقال للذي أمسك: أمسكته للموت، فأنا أحبسك في السجن حتى (تموت) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Yahya bin Abu Kathir narrates that two men were brought to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him); one of them had committed murder and the other had apprehended him. So, he had the murderer executed, and to the one who had apprehended him, he said: "You apprehended him for death, so I will imprison you in jail until you also die."
